I started my business after completing a three year Diploma course at Newark Technical College in Nottinghamshire. After achieving a Diploma in Piano tuning, Maintenance and Repair and a two part City & Guild certificate in Piano tuning and Reconditioning I set myself up in business as a Self employed Piano Tuner / Technician.

While the business was building, I worked for the well known and well respected piano department at Forsyth Bros Ltd in Manchester as a Piano Technician / Tuner. Here i worked with some great technicians and tuners gaining knowledge and experience. Once my business started to grow I left Forsyth’s to concentrate on developing my work even further.

During the years to follow I did free-lance work for Dale Pianos in Preston and I was the North West Piano Tuner / Technician for Bluthners and Harrods of London. These two companies gave me work all over the North West and Cumbria,

In 2002 I joined the staff of the Oldham Music Centre as there Musical Instrument Technician. This is also widening my experience of musical instrument repairs covering the whole spectrum of disciplines.
